Bond History
| Details: $20,900,000 Bond Proposition 1 ($19,600,000) Add classrooms and elevator to Eastchester Middle School. Add classrooms, bathrooms, and fitness center to Eastchester High School. Renovate other classrooms and cafeteria in High School Defeated (For: 1246 votes, Against: 1331 votes) Proposition 2 ($1,285,000 ) Add 2 classrooms and renovate /expand Eastchester Middle School cafeteria (For: 1178 votes, Against: 1265 votes) $5,400,000 Bond for the replacement and repair of roofs and gutters throughout the district as needed and the upgrading of fire alarm systems at Greenvale, Anne Hutchinson and the Middle School click for history. Work at the Middle and High School was completed the summer of 2007. Needed work at the elementary schools will be completed the summer of 2008 (when classes are not is session). Additional fire alarm system upgrades at the elementary schools will also be completed the summer of 2008. (see history) $27,800,000 Bond (with $913,00 of State EXCEL Aid, amount to borrow was $26,900,000) for new construction and infrastructure repairs at the high school and middle school (see history) $12,377,000 Bond for building of Waverly addition and provided for additional classrooms at Greenvale and Anne Hutchinson along with some upgrades and repairs at the two 2-5 elementary buildings. $11,500,000 Bond for builiding of ten new classrooms in the High School in the area called the "shared wing", Library Media Center, auditorium renovations, Middle School entrance and parking renovations, new windows and doors in the High School and Middle School, air conditioning in the old gym, and new playgrounds at the elementary schools. |
