Is this the way a newspaper should operate?   Contacting board candidates at the last
minute?  The Editorial Board couldn't reach her?  Their local reporter had the email and
none of her information has changed since the last time she ran for the board.    The
Journal News is unprofessional as best and one certainly has to question their agenda.

      "it was an e-mail notice on our web site, but even the guys running the show
     apologized for the short notice to everybody. they did say they'd try to get
     in touch with you by phone to get your input before they make their
     endorsements. i think we have your phone number (?) -- we certainly have
